Your Lamp May Be Spying On You

This item will definitely make you paranoid about your furniture. Two artists, Kyle McDonald and Brian House, created Conversnitch, a device that resembles a lamp or light bulb and listens to nearby conversations, and then posts them to Conversnitch’s Twitter account.

Using a plastic flower pot, microphone, an LED, and one miniature computer, the device is easily fixed into any standard light bulb socket, whereby it gets its power.

Let your imagination go wild when creating your own ideas of how to use this interesting accessory. Meanwhile, check out the video.
