Sony To Launch "Sirius" Smartphone With A 4K Video Feature

Sony's up-and-coming D6503 smartphone, or “Sirius,” is said to include a 4K video recording feature, which will make each owner a Hollywood-like director. “Sirius” is also set to feature "Timeshift video," a high frame-rate video mode that applies slow motion effects. Pretty cool, eh?

Another notable aspect of this smartphone is the "Smart call handling," which enables you to manage upcoming calls without even touching the phone's screen. Hence, if you put the smartphone against your ear, you'll automatically answer the call. To reject the call, you simply shake the handset. Finally, if you face the device down, it will mute itself.

Sony's “Sirius” runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat, and it comes with a 5.2-inch 1080p screen, 3GB of RAM, and 2.3GHz quad-core processor, while its back camera boasts a resolution of 20.7 megapixels. The smartphone also packs a built-in answering machine, a double tap to wake the screen feature, smart backlight control, and some neat settings options.

Ever fancied being a filmmaker? You might as well be one now, when Sony launches its “Sirius” next month. With all these features it seems as it's worth the wait.
