It sounds obvious, but it’s harder to do in reality than you might think. Creating content is what you’ll do as a YouTube channel owner. But you’ll want to add multiple videos each week, and do so in a manner that your viewers will find predictable. If you typically add videos on Mondays and Thursdays, for example, your viewers will know to view your channel then.
Adding tags is one of the best ways to take advantage of YouTube’s search function. The other is writing a title but we’ll get to that in a second. Different people use different search terms when looking for the same video. Using multiple tags that cover a number of search terms will help you to improve your views, and thus your subscribers.
Writing a great title can be pretty difficult. It needs to be short, sweet, and to the point—but also surprising or interesting enough to get the attention of someone scrolling down the page. Writing a great title is also huge for search, as it’s probably more important than tags when it comes to Google’s algorithms.
When you post videos, interact with the people who comment. That will make them more likely to come back and recommend your page to their friends. When you start getting subscribers, they are more likely to share your material as well. Make sure you talk to your commenters!
