Not everyone is cut out to lead a team or an organization. Some people prefer to keep their head down and simply concentrate on the job at hand. In this article we present five questions to help you determine whether you have the right qualities to be an effective leader.
Leadership is a two-way street. A one-way street is more akin to dictatorship! Being a good leader means motivating your team by being sensitive to their concerns and motivations—not simply barking orders.
Would you describe your outlook on life as “glass half full” or “glass half empty?” If it’s the latter, you’re going to struggle to inspire and motivate people. Every team and organization will experience difficulties and setbacks, and it’s up to the leader to keep up morale.
