Do you have a “monkey-mind?” Neuroscience research conducted at Harvard University found that mindfulness meditation can change the brain structure after only eight weeks of meditation.
Neuroscientist Sara Lazar, the study's senior author, says, “Although the practice of meditation is associated with a sense of peacefulness and physical relaxation, practitioners have long claimed that meditation also provides cognitive and psychological benefits that persist throughout the day.”
